Black Friday Vego Garden Raised Bed Giveaway!!!

Hi everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! It’s been a full year, made even fuller by the bounty I’ve grown and harvested in my little raised bed veg patch. If you’ve been around the blog for a while, you might remember my veggie garden glow up last fall. All that backbreaking work (a truckload of pea gravel is no joke!) really paid big dividends. It’s amazing what you can squeeze into a small space and it’s why I’m so excited to share the best giveaway I’ve ever offered on all of my platforms. My garden brings my family and me so much joy and I want to share it with all of you.
This is an Instagram giveaway but I wanted to open it up to my blog subscribers too. You’ll just have to navigate over there via the link I’ll provide later in this post.
But first, a little background on my Vego Garden relationship. Last winter, the American-made raised bed company asked me to join their ambassador program and I was thrilled to be part of their mission to “make gardening as accessible and sustainable as possible.” Our relationship began after I purchased two 6-in-1 raised beds and one Kids First garden bed to fit the narrow space along the fence in my vegetable garden. It’s amazing just how much you can grow in tight spots!
The Instagram reel that sparked the ambassadorship showed how I fill a raised bed on a budget. At 17″ deep, it can be expensive to fill a Vego bed, or any raised bed for that matter. The hugelkultur method is the perfect solution and apparently, over 9,000,000 people on Instagram thought so too! That’s how many have viewed my hugelkultur reel since last November! You can view that reel here.
A German word, “hugel” means hill or mound and “kultur” means culture, so “mound culture” and refers to a freestanding garden bed made from layers of organic matter. Traditional hugelkultur mounds can be built anywhere. I adapted the method to fill my Vego Garden raised beds using cardboard, leaves, finished and unfinished compost, all of which I had on hand. I’ll take a deeper dive into the “ingredients” in a future post.

And now that you have the backstory, let’s get into the real reason you’re here…free stuff!
There’s a 17″ tall 6-in-1 Vego Garden raised bed in the modern grey finish with your name on it. I was given the option to choose the product I wanted to offer for my Grateful Gardener Giveaway and this was the obvious choice because I have two of my own and know their value. It’s the most versatile raised bed, giving you six different possible configurations based on your growing space.
If you want a circular 2′ diameter raised bed, you can do that with this kit. Or maybe the full length at 6.5′ long and 2′ deep is more suitable for your space. Whatever the case, this kit gives you options and options are always good. Check out all the raised bed configurations here.

How to Enter the Raised Bed Giveaway
Click the blue “View profile” button on the Instagram post below. From there, you’ll be directed to my profile page where you’ll find the giveaway reel. Like the reel, follow both me and @vego_garden, and tag a friend in the comments. Boom! You’re officially entered into the drawing which will close on December 1 at 12pm CST. One winner will be drawn at random that evening and announced on my Instagram story. If you win, I will reach out via Instagram and arrangements will be made with Vego Garden to mail your raised bed garden kit straight away.
Giveaway open to US residents only, sorry Canada.
*The drawing DOES NOT include the trellis or the solar lights you see on the raised beds. But you can enter through my affiliate link here and purchase those separately. Vego Garden is having a Black Friday event with up to 60% off savings on select products and free shipping to the contiguous US. And if you’ve been eyeing up the 17″ tall 9-in-1 raised bed kit, you can enter the code HEATHERHERESHEGROWS5%OFF for additional savings that can be stacked with the current Black Friday sale.

So those are the ground rules and I hope you’ll toss your hat in the ring. Whether you grow flowers, veg, a little bit of both or dream of growing something someday, a Vego Garden raised bed is a great place to start or continue!
So let’s grow! And “May the odds be ever in your favor!”
Excited! Your posts are practical, happy, inspiring!
